It's mostly dark, so it's tough to auto-focus, it being dark, you're working with big apertures which compounds auto-focus even more working with narrow depths of field. You're cranking up the ISO, so managing noise is an issue. The stage lights are going on and off throwing the camera's meter for a loop.
